Blanket Scarf

Oh how I wish fall would come already here in San Diego. I am dying to wear this amazing blanket scarf that Jewelry Bean sent me but the way the weather has been, I don’t know if it will ever happen.

I love the way that the scarf came packaged in the mail. It makes me so happy when things are made with a personal touch. It feels as if this scarf was made specifically for me! You always have to make a girl feel special, and they certainly did that!

I am in love with the colors of this blanket scarf. They are neutral enough to match with everything in my closet but different than what most people have.

There are so many different ways to wear a blanket scarf. I love it when on cold nights I can wrap it around my body, especially when out on date nights. At least in San Diego we have cool nights after our warm days. I love that living on the coast we get that nice cool breeze at night that makes for a perfect opportunity to wear my scarf.

Hi loves! I hope you all had an amazing weekend. I just want to let you all know about this amazing little jewelry company Salt and Sol. I had so much fun working with them and I highly suggest their jewelry. It is all handmade by the locals of Ecuador and not something you can find anywhere. All the jewelry is lightweight and easy to wear. They come in the prettiest colors also! I love the red chunky necklace so much that I wear it to work all the time.

Salt and Sol also has really cute graphic tees. (I basically live in mine on the weekends).

And how awesome is the beach blanket? Seriously everyone needs one!

Europe Part 2: Paris

Wow, Paris was just amazing! I definitely didn’t get to spend enough time there and I am devastated about it! There was so much to see and so little time. But that just means that I will have to go back ASAP. We decided that since we only had a day and a half in Paris, that we would only do the major sights.

Obviously we checked out the Eiffel Tower. The apartment that we were staying at was only 2 blocks from it, but unfortunately without a view. It was absolutely stunning, and so much better in person! We decided that we would climb the stairs versus waiting in line forever to take the elevator. We ended up only making it to the second tier, but the sites were enough to make the whole trip worth it. You could see the entire city and it was gorgeous. If you don’t mind the hike, the stairs are so worth it (and cheaper too!).

The Arc de Triomphe was really pretty. We didn’t go up on that one sadly. But it was centrally located next to all of our favorite shops, so it was worth the walk over!

I highly suggest the river cruise. It is a great way to see all the important parts of the city from the boat. It gives a little snippet of each monument! I thought it was really cool to see all the main sites just on the little ride!

The Louvre was awesome from the outside (little hint: the Louvre is closed on Tuesday’s, the only full day we were there). So we did not get to go inside, but the outside was gorgeous. I think it worked out for us though because there weren’t as many people around, which meant less people in our pictures!

Notre Dame was incredible! I really wanted to climb up to the top of the bell towers but we didn’t make it there in time. I loved how there was so much detail all over the church, both inside and outside. I definitely recommend checking this out next time you’re in Paris.

Even though we were in Paris for just two days it was such an amazing experience! I had such a great time and I seriously cannot wait to book my next trip there! (This time I’ll spend extra time there!) If you’ve been to Paris before, do you have any hidden secrets that I need to check out? Let me know!
